Okkultist Unleashes Sophomore Opus "O.M.E.N."

Portuguese Black/Death Metal band Okkultist have released their second full-length album entitled "O.M.E.N." which stands for Omnis Malum Et Noceo, translating from Latin to "everything evil and harmful." The album represents a strong effort from the band and solidifies their status as one of the most intriguing names in the current Portuguese Metal scene.

The Opening track "O.M.E.N." prepares the listener with a seance before all hell breaks loose with “Death to Your Breed''! This track Assaults your senses and makes you question your safety! Giving you that intense melodic death metal/black metal feel that you oh so crave. 

"Meet Me in Hell '' continues the band's assault on our senses, inviting us all to bang our heads nonstop to devilish piercing guitar riffs. "Blood on Satan's Claw" continues the onslaught of Melodic Death and Black Metal, providing the listener with undisputed heaviness and sorcery. "Demonic Warfare" is another salvo of world-class Black and Death Metal with underworldly growls that penetrate your very mind. 

"9th Layer of the Abyss" is a song that continues Okkultist's unholy desecration with an intense slow burn in the pocket groove until the end when all out Black Metal chaos is unleashed. "Thy Blood, Thy Flesh, Thy Sacrifice" Starts strong by showcasing their riff technicality that gets stuck in your end on an endless loop for eternity. 

The album also features a tribute to the late Alexi Laiho, with the band's rendition of Children of Bodom's hit "Sixpounder"."Crimson Ecstasy" closes the album with a final sonic assault that will bring a smile to your face and make you bang your head rhythmically. Be sure to listen all the way to the end of this track for a hidden surprise.

With "O.M.E.N.," Okkultist has demonstrated that they are a force to be reckoned with in the world of extreme music.
